诗源于一种植物的名字yesterday, today and tomorrow，
我两个月前在百慕大植物园曾好奇了一阵子的，当时想到了中国的
“金银花”(英Honeysuckle，花根吮如蜜)也因时而变色的。

当时带着孩子，又想到了孩子们的歌，新朋友是银，旧朋友是金。
这也是张爱玲顶喜欢的一首歌。。。

怎么说呢？很有诗意，不写一首诗不行。怎么写呢？我对原花并不格
物，只好把思绪整理整理，拼揍成十四行。

Yesterday Today and Tomorrow

The Yesterday-Today-and-Tomorrow shrub from Brazil likes to show off 3 different colors of flowers during mid-winter. First blooms are deep lilac which turn to light lavender and finish with a fade to white. Hence the names yesterday = deep lilac, today = lavender and tomorrow = white. The flowers are fragrant too

金银花与这三色茉莉正相反，由银变金。我记得佛罗斯特一首植物的
小诗，很有味，不可译，贴在这里给两位吧：

Robert Frost - The Rose Family

The rose is a rose,
And was always a rose.

The plum, I suppose.

When Robert Frost learned how many different species were
in the rose family was he was moved to write a poem.

谢xw, 我有一问题哈，这金与银在这里是不是只有颜色的不同啊？如果加入质地和态度的不同，时间长的是金的，时间短的是银的，那一见如故怎么说啊？看来作朋友也会升值滴~ 俺还是不太喜欢这样分。。。有点瞎较汁，不用理我。。。

同意兰若。不应该把朋友分成三六九等。就是分了，也不可以说出来。

不可断章取意，这小歌分明唱的是不要喜新忘旧，我引在这里也是摆
设一种“昨天”（童年）之境。

昨天、今天与明天是在一直在流动中。。。

而引的佛罗斯特，是他写给妻子的，自然另当别论。

金啊、银啊，不就是歌中凑个韵：old 和gold，都是认得英语的。

花色不同，这三色茉莉还果真是愈旧愈显白色（银？）呢。
