My poem about racoon

This is a racoon with shining eyes
Don't you mistake it for the mice.
It lurks at night and sleeps off the day
Seeking the left over in the trash tray.
It frolics with friends under the tree
And fled when someone says "Oh see, do you see?"
After a few steps away from you
It turns to study you as a view.
