首先，我同意泥先生的说法，任何一个译文都是有缺陷的。不要说翻译，就是写作，十全十美的文字也是不存在的。那不符合辩证法。所以，任何文字都可以再提高。

其实，country这个词用单数还是复数不是问题的关键，虽然整个诗词的格局告诉我们，那地方指的是当代，而不是古代，所以必须用表示当代的词，而不是表示古代的词。问题的关键是，我只是通过几个例子说明我不赞同许先生的翻译方法，即我不赞同他在翻译时以押韵为主，而使译文有时走了原文的意思，有时走了原文的口气。

既然你代他在这里回答问题，我提出了问题，你就应该正面回答。请一条一条反驳我在原文里给出的５例子。

翻译诗词就是闲的，实在是不知道玩什么好。 不明白为啥有人认为我在挑战权威，论文是你写的。 我真要挑战时候他又跑掉了。什么道理？  纸上谈兵乱放炮很容易，真刀真抢上阵他又撤退了，什么道理？

不知道许渊冲先生翻译过这首没有？我之所以很少去读别人的诗词翻译，是如方先生说的，应该先自己翻译，因为这样避免被别人的翻译影响。

尊前拟把归期说⑵，欲语春容先惨咽⑶。人生自是有情痴，此恨不关风与月。

离歌且莫翻新阕⑷，一曲能教肠寸结。直须看尽洛城花⑸，始共春风容易别。[
