That's it?
Tell me if that's the big deal, why the hispanics was not on board for it?
Tell me what's more important: the overall country, or the hypothetic minority interest?
If you really think Obama will help equality and minority interest, then tell me:
Why the hispanics side more with Hilary than Obama, while the younger voters (esp. young white males) sides more with Obama?
The current situation is: in the government, coorporate management, blacks has more than their (population) share of representation, while Asians are way under represented. Do you think Obama will really start the change, or vill be able to change this?
Do you think Obama really cares those Chinamen?
Why Obama won't even bother to answer the questionaries by the 80-20 committee?
I would never go with face value, and I will have to go under the skin and see the substance.
And I don't buy the idea of trading inequality fo some abstract equality, just like I don't belive that kids from Beijing deserve to go to Beida with lower score than kids from Jiangsu or Fujian.
By the way, going with ethenity is just as narrow minded as going with affirmative act.
Dispite all said, I don't mean Obama is a bad guy by any mean. Just that he has not shown enough the quality and maturity to lead this country yet. He needs to wait a few more years.
