We are in southern Ontario. The best home builders are almost all Italians. They built some great houses in the 30 years between 1980 and 2010. However, the new immigrants who are the primary buyers of these homes do not care about these issues; they only care about the appearance of being grand and spacious. These "nouveau riche homes" are built in the same generic style, lacking any particular style or aesthetic appeal, and one can become easily nauseated after seeing one after another. When it comes to aesthetic taste, the descendants of ancient Rome, the Italians, are far superior to the Arabs, who come from the desert.
