Winter formerly begins
Cold are the nights
Colorful are the Christmas lights
Strolling on Wharf alone for God knows what
I see three beggars at the rail’s side
Bored, I hang out in big hotel
Because the heater at home has me failed
Suddenly dogs bark furiously there
The nerves of themselves and human beings they tear

Near the year’s end, sand in glass runs wild
Chaotic are my thoughts for the wasted time
In pursuing the phantom in the winds
And scooping the moon in the reflected trees
I am but a
Squirrel in its incomplete home on the sand dune.
I ask who’s the master of my heart
In the vast foggy sea
Who’s holds the helm
To chart the puzzling course?
In the horizon mirage disappears
In the clouds rainbow dances
All visible nothingness
Missing brings lamentation
Seeing brings lamentation
After all she’s not my companion
Singing of her brings tears
Speaking of her brings tears
She’s as distant as starts in universe
She disturbs my sorrowful nights
She makes me have sorrowful sighs
An apparition at my desk unsettles my heart
Why isn’t she
A ghost from the Chinese Studio
So I can have a story to impart
