这里的词语 Lord, on high 都难免让英语国家的读者产生宗教联想。 谁会想到原文是这样呢？

第三行，boat sinking water 最好写成 boat-sinking water 以避免歧义。common ones 这里的代词因为没有上下文，含义不清，不如干脆用 commoners 平民百姓。
第三行虽然是顺着原诗的词序翻译的，可是我觉得的英文语义重点跟原文颠倒了，不如用逆序译法。
我翻就这样：
When rulers at high place the state govern
Complaints would be heard under the heaven
The tears of commoners can sink a boat
Rulers won’t know before it does happen
高阁垂裳调鼎时， 我理解为治理国家。 类似治国如烹小鲜。

英语助动词的用法，在主语后边，动词原形前边。如果倒装， 主语和助动词不能分开，如， go there I will, 不可以说， I go there will. 表示强调的do 和does，很少有倒装的，如 This song he did sing. 很少说，This sing song he did, 更不能说，This song he sing did. 把 巫山夹青天，巴水流若兹 翻译成 The Wu Mount azure sky clamp does，The Ba River flows like this thus, 是因韵扭曲语法。like this thus 更无音美可言。不能说原文有z的音素，你就要弄个英语有类似发音的词来凑。(This is not Zhao’s)

不看原文，译文第二句怎么也看不懂。就算最后能懂，也绝不是好译文。原诗一看能懂，你给来一句需要反复进行语法分析的，风格上就不对等了。看了原文，才知道译文的语法结构是 the wind blows grass TO green. 反正我是孤陋寡闻，不知道英语是否可以这么说。 画角怎么翻译的？ 他知道什么是画角吗？画角伴霜刀，作者用的是古代将士守边关的意象。霜刀应该是带着霜的刀，不是把霜比喻成刀。
