AN AUTUMN DREAM

In the warm afternoon of the early autumn,
We go together to look for
That maple leaf covered path.
I tip toe a second,
And whisper in your ears with my finest voice:
Let's stop for a moment,
Let me nestle in your arms, and let my heart melt.
Thereupon,
Right under that fire-red maple tree,
Right in the autumn breeze with flying maple leaves,
I cautiously
Kiss you.
Your luscious lips
Are prayers of my past life, and destiny of my present.
Your warm n' thick palms
Upholding my wandered n' exhausted heart.
Your body reflections
Wafting n' casting into my wave-glittering
Eyes.
Oh, the floating falling maple leaves,
Please, please
Soften the sound of your graceful footsteps;
Please do not disturb
Autumn -
The wake-me-not dream.
