THINKING OF YOU
- by 如霏
Thinking of you...
In the afternoon of an early winter,
I lighted up an urn of incense sticks,
and silently prayed for my good wishes.
I let my longing heart pour out,
to saturate the blue-green foggy smokes.
I laid my ardent cheeks
against the chilling window glass.
With my breath turning into frosty,
I let my worries be overlaid n' painted
into shallow marks and deep scars.
Thinking of you...
I stand under the summer starry skies;
The sleepless night hangs over the trees.
There are scents of light fragrances;
Through the air they disperse.
The moonlight is as pure as water.
I'd nab a beam of the soft moonlight,
and beg her to kiss a deeply sleeping you.
Winds brush through the twigs of the trees,
causing sighs to fall all over the grounds.
Thinking of you...
From the late springs of lavish profusions,
to the deep autumns with remnant maple leaves,
I write with my longing heart to fulfill
every petal of flowers,
every leaf of the fallen leaves.
Yet I'll throw them all away
into the pure and cold waters of creeks.
I'll let them drift slowly, slowly away,
just as I do to my longing, longing
heart for you.
