According to what being said in the Bible, the world was cursed as sin entered into the world through one man, even the first Adam. But the last Adam (the Son of Man) became a sin offering for all of us, thus transferred us from this corrupted world, even the Kingdom of Darkness, ridden with sin and evil, into the Kingdom of His Light, full of life, even life eternal.
In the book of Romans, Paul said: "All creation is groaning inside, waiting for the sons of God to be revealed."
Adam was created to be not a mere man, but one with a promise-to be just like Him (the Father or creator). God would teach him all things, even as a father to his son; yet when he sinned, death entered the life of Man, thus this creation. Only in Christ such a promise (one goes beyond the one given even to Abraham) is restituted-now we are sons of God if we believe in this promise and repent of (change completely from) the ways of this world.
As a believer, we are aliens and strangers of this corrupted world.
Well, have to stop here. Don't want to "ruin" your Christmas time with such a boring discussion...
Have a good one this year! My big hug as a gift!
Love,
Sun
