After reading Afternoon in February By Longfellow, I wrote this:
My head is pounding 我头很痛
The day is ending 终于放工
The traffic is heavy 繁忙交通
The sunset gleams 夕阳光芒闪动
The drivers are inpatient 司机躁动
Horn to get attention 喇叭放送
At the messy corner 街角乱哄哄
Someone even screams 有人尖叫失控
The winds start to pick up 开始刮风
Rain will be coming up 雨将沉重
Save my money 省我人工
From the car washer 洗车劳师动众
While through the superstore 经过超市
Which is near the seashore 湖滨之东
I dropped by for Tylenols 买了扑热息痛
And picked up a flyer 广告传单拿手中
Thinking to have a good rest 想着休息放松
Prepare tomorrow for the best 迎接明天劳动
Early at night I go to bed 早睡见周公
Only to find it rains at midnight 发现半夜下雨雷轰隆
It is said this is the life 这是生活
Every moment is live 每刻都生动
Sick or healthy, sad or happy 生病或生猛，开心或悲痛
On the way look for light 寻找光明途中
