公司里一位不认识的女同事的丈夫，上周被人枪杀了，留下5个孩子。公司号召捐款。

这可能算是发生在我身边最近的谋杀案吧。

We will be designating next week as a special Denim Day week for XXXX from Tech Support whose husband XXXX was killed this past week, leaving XXXX and her 5 children in great need of our help.

Though a $10.00 minimum contribution will afford you the right to wear denim for an entire week, we ask that you be generous with your donation in this time of need. Checks should be made payable to XXXX and all donations should be collected by department managers and forwarded to XXXX in the Human Resources Department by Friday, October 12.

Except the gun shot I saw in library which I wrote before, I had another real life story like this too.  It was very sad.
