我觉得应当鼓励和安慰小草的意思，不要害怕黑夜，他们也会过去的。

我也犹疑过, 但根据上下文, 认为" about to happen" 比较合理.

这首诗体现诗人对简单生活的追求吧.
诗中有说, "in the road", 所以我直译了. 你的引伸理解也该对吧.  每个人都有不同理解.  :-)
Career 是多义词,  确有" 行程或步履"之义.  但此处我仍偏向于"事业, 功名"之意.   此诗是以物喻人吧.

这首是两年前译的, 做了小改动.
我本是写"栖息"的.  :-)
”栖生“, 栖息成长.  主要是找不到字压上句"灵"的韵, 只好找个相近的.  :-)

"The thing", 我不想直译为"小鸟", 虽然意思是那样的.  所以译做"精灵".
是当时在另处同高手讨论时, 脑袋中突然跳出来的词.
曼牛有何妙译?  请赐玉.  :-)

理解可能有问题，我觉得是诗人走了远路到无人的地方采来了它给人看的意思。
不知道我对你对。。。

这首也是旧译.  我当时查了一些网上的英文解释.  当然说法不一.
但都认为当时诗人心情忧郁. 有人认为蜜蜂, 小鸟是指代她的 siblings.

pilgrim 除了指"朝圣者"外, 还有此意: a traveler or wanderer, esp. in a foreign place.

译诗只能靠自己的猜度.  这只是我的理解.  :-)
