ANGELIC ANTICIPATION

We haven't been born yet
We have only the buoyant angelic wings
There isn't bodily weightiness
Of the Earthly living beings
We use the languages of the Earth
To soar

You and I don't have any facial expression
We only have smiles, sighs, exultation, and
Deep pondering
We use utmost piety
To experience
The slightest regret and melancholy that we may still have

Whereafter
We console each other
And wait until
We own an earthly body
We will hence reach the heaven

Then
I may use my hands to hold your hands
Use my arms to embrace your shoulders
I will also use my lips
To kiss you
Oh, there is more
There is a mystery
Which we can't yet imagine now
